About Kaahon
Kaahon means stories, narratives, epics. A woman’s stories, her kaahani influences her choice of jewellery. For her, jewellery is not merely ornamental: it is a reflection of her persona, a culmination of her experiences. What she puts on her neck or her wrist is carefully selected to best define her and match her own beauty.
Keeping this in mind, Kaahon creates jewellery designs for women by women. Each piece of jewellery and its journey from the designer’s desk through the nimble fingers of the dedicated and persevering Karigars is an enchanting story in itself. Some stories tell themselves, while others subtly speak to our souls.
The story of Kaahon began in 2011 as a quest to design and create fine handcrafted silver jewellery at reasonable prices. Kaahon’s mission has been to cater to women who love graceful yet quirky, fashionable yet classic jewellery to accessorise their best outfits. Kaahon searched for and found Karigars who were so confident of their craft, that they were willing to treat silver as fine as gold and lend their skills to create masterpieces in silver.

About The Products
Our products are designed by Sonia Saha and handcrafted using 925 silver, by our very talented team of karigars led by Subir Bera. We take pride in our designs and their originality, and the quality of our silver- each product is tested for 92.5% purity. (Certificates are kept in our records – a decade worth).
We use stones that are both processed and certified originals, alternating to suit budget and dreams. These stones include but are not limited to ruby, emerald, topaz/Champagne AD. iolites, black AD and zircon to name a few. Certain items likefresh water pearls, garnet and turquoise are always in Original.
Our jewellery range using stone setting techniques, consisting of the Panchatur, Madhyam, Navneesh and Saathi designs, is our bestselling range and newly introduced to our website, so do check them out!

Samiksha
Under Samiksha, you will find Locket and Earring sets- Lolak, Necklace and Earring sets and Necklet and Earring sets- Haar. Here the prices range anywhere from INR 1900-32000, so feel comfortable to select beautiful jewellery that suits your budget. Our designs range from cute and quirky to simple and graceful to exquisite and glamorous.
Karnapali
For earrings, head to Karnapali. Here you will find earrings of all shapes and sizes. We offer a challenge for the next wedding you go to- wear a Kaahon Jhumka or Chandbali and count how many compliments you get. Our Darshini (show earrings) are perfect for when you want to look glamorous but cannot be bothered to think about what to wear. If you are looking for everyday jewellery that is neither boring nor found anywhere in the market, head to our pocket friendly but unique (and oh-so-cute) Vistaarini earrings. Mangalsutra
Mangalsutra was a result of decade-long customer requests to our designer to design and produce mangalsutras in 925 silver. Sonia, a traditionalist, did not think it could be done. However, once her team convinced her to try, the first few designs were a resounding success and were almost immediately sold off. Brides are looking away from gold and exploring the elegance and femininity of silver. We at Kaahon understand this and provide to the new bride of India unique designs with the theme- Tradition weds Modernity.
Angooti
Love wearing rings with every outfit? Find an array of elegant designs that don’t break the bank, under our Stone Range- Sheela in Angooti category. Our Panchatur and Navneesh rings keep it simple and classy, while Madhyam and Saathi rings add a pop of glam to every outfit. No matter the type, though, you are assured to glitter. Additionally, we provide a unique selection of collector’s and cocktail rings that will easily make you the best dressed at any occasion or location.
